Delete your Golf Passport account

Request account deletion

Send the request from the email address connected to your Golf Passport account where possible. This helps us verify ownership without asking you for a password.

1. Send the request.
   Use the button above, or email the address directly with the subject “Golf Passport account deletion”. Include the email address associated with the Golf Passport account.
2. Verify ownership if needed.
   We may ask for reasonable account verification before deleting data. Golf Passport support will never ask you to send your password.
3. Deletion is carried out.
   Once the request is verified, the account and associated Golf Passport user data are deleted or scheduled for deletion, subject only to any limited retention required by law or necessary security records.

What is deleted?

A verified account-deletion request is intended to remove the Golf Passport account and user-linked data associated with it, including:

• Golf Passport authentication/account record;
• profile information such as display name and preferred language;
• your played-course history and played dates;
• your individual course ratings; and
• your rating notes or other account-linked user content covered by the request.

Shared golf-course catalogue data is not your account data and is not deleted when your account is removed. Course-level aggregate statistics may be recalculated after individual account data is removed.

What is not deleted?

Deleting Golf Passport does not delete a Google account or another third-party identity-provider account you used to sign in. Those accounts are controlled separately by their respective providers.

How long does deletion take?

Verified deletion requests are handled as soon as reasonably possible. Some residual copies may remain temporarily in protected infrastructure backups until they rotate out under normal backup-retention schedules. Where law requires limited information to be retained, only the information necessary for that purpose will be retained for the required period.
